The things that appear to be transparent are Calcium Flouride, Magnesium Flouride, Lithium Flouride, Fused Silica, Diamond (real and artificial) and crystals of borate. But, that in itself also means that whatever is emitting the UVC has limited options for being protected from a environment with cleaning materials. u/BoringBob84 UVC itself is so short that it cannot penetrate plastics, so it would not get anywhere near shielded stuff. There is clear risk there which is not even close to being outweighed by the benefit of having the technology. There is no way to guarantee someone has not just quickly zipped in their to clean, restock, help their kid out, or simply taking their time to lock the door. Open with a door shut may or may not mean someone is in there. That fact that a loo is locked generally means someone is in there - but it can be locked for landing. u/astronomymatt alluded to the notion of "closed" would help to avoid exposure.
